I’m a 58 kg National level Olympic weightlifter who likes to do Crossfit from time to time.
I’ve been working in the health and fitness field for over ten years as a trainer and wellness coach. I have a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion, both from the University of Northern Iowa.
I am a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, a NASM Performance Exercise Specialist, and a USAW Sports Performance Coach. I currently work as a Wellness Coach for Active Health Management

While earning his graduate degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Northern Iowa, he had many unique opportunities to gain classroom knowledge and apply it to athletes. His work started with the baseball program, where he worked as the strength and conditioning coach.
He also spent a great deal of time learning first hand about Olympic weightlifting under Coach Jianping Ma, a 1984 Chinese Olympic athlete. For two years, Will was Coach Ma’s assistant at the USA Weightlifting regional training center. He has since traveled to China twice to learn from the best in the world in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. Will opened Superior Athletic Advantage in 2008.
Along the way, he has had the opportunity to work with several top athletes in the CrossFit North Central Region, as well as mentoring multiple coaches and gyms around the country, and writing training programs to enhance their Olympic lifting, strength, and fitness.
